My Knitted Fabrics class did a colaboration with a cashmere yarn company Herati in Afghanistan. The yarn was completely natural and hand spun beautifully. We were to create garments inspired by this yarn as our material. These garments were then presented to the company and they selected pieces to be displayed in thier booth at the SPINEXPO Trade Show in New York City. I was lucky enough to be chosen to show my coat at the SPINEXPO on the 16th-18th of July, 2012.
